"Works fine, but the layout feels a bit cluttered"
Appointy gets the job done for booking and scheduling, so I can’t really complain too much there. But like I said, the interface feels a little messy at times. Some things are easy enough to find, while other buttons or settings take a bit of clicking around. The dashboard also looks kind of dated and could definitely be cleaner. Like I said, it’s not a bad app overall, it just doesn’t feel as smooth or modern as I’d like.

Appointy has been useful for managing a few of our branches. It does the job for the most part, but jumping between locations can feel a little clunky at times. Getting everything set up also took longer than I expected. Support was decent, though not exactly quick to respond

"Pretty good for rooms and staff scheduling"
We've been using Appointy mainly to manage staff time slots and a couple shared rooms. So far it's been solid and it's helped us avoid double bookings, which was the biggest headache before. The setup took some messing around, and a few settings werent super obvious at first, but once its up and running day to day it's fine. I'd give it 4 stars.

"Pretty fair notification system overall"
To be fair, the notifications do the job most of the time. The emails come through reliably, which I appreciate. The only downside is that the SMS alerts can show up a little late sometimes, so it’s not perfect, but overall it’s been okay

"Staff management has been frustrating"
I really wanted this to work for our team, but managing staff has been a headache. Adding new people and updating schedules kept glitching on me, and the permissions setup confused a few of my coworkers too. Support tried, but we didn’t get much help beyond the basics. If you’re thinking about using it, I’d definitely test the staff and scheduling features with a small group first before rolling it out to everyone

So... updates usually show up late, and it feels like the same bugs keep coming back even after they’re supposed to be fixed.

"Calendar sync has been a bit frustrating"
Appointy is okay overall, but the calendar sync has been driving me a little nuts. I’ll think, “Great, that booking should be on my Google Calendar now,” and then it either shows up late or doesn’t show up at all. So I end up second-guessing everything and checking it manually anyway, which kind of defeats the point

Appointy does handle the basic booking and reminder stuff well, so credit where it’s due. It’s just when you try to make it fit your actual business instead of some generic setup, things start feeling a little limited. It works overall, but I do find myself wishing it was more complete out of the box instead of having to come up with little workarounds like that’s part of the fun.

"Easy to get going with just a couple hiccups"
Getting set up was straightforward, which I really appreciated. I was able to add my services and staff without having to click around forever, and it felt good to see everything coming together so quickly.
The onboarding was helpful too, although I did get a little stuck in a couple spots at first, especially with syncing calendars. Luckily, support pointed me to the right place, and I had it sorted out fast.
It wasn’t totally perfect, but overall I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get live in about a day. Definitely a solid experience and I’d give it 4 stars

"Keeps going down right when we need it"
I really wanted this to work smoothly for our team, but it feels like it goes down at the worst possible moments. We’ll be in the middle of something important, and then everything just stops. It’s frustrating because when it works, it’s fine, but the downtime has been happening too often for us to depend on it.

"The time zone issues kept throwing everything off"
I had a frustrating time with Appointy, mostly because the time zones kept acting weird. I thought I had set my availability correctly, but clients were still seeing different times on their end. I was sitting there with my coffee at 8 a.m. thinking everything was fine, and then later realized the booking page told someone something totally different.
In one week, I missed two calls because the reminder email showed one time and the booking page showed another. Maybe there’s some hidden setting buried somewhere, but it shouldn’t take detective work and three browser tabs open just to confirm when a meeting is supposed to happen.
Support took a while to get back to me, and after a bit I got tired of manually double checking every single appointment like I was managing a paper calendar again. If you’re only booking local clients, maybe it’s okay, but if you work with people in other countries, I personally wouldn’t trust it.

I’ve been using Appointy to keep an eye on bookings and see which time slots fill up the fastest, it’s been helpful. The reports make it easy to understand staff schedules and spot customer patterns without having to dig around too much. A few of the analytics pages can feel a little cluttered at first, but it’s nothing major, and you get used to it quickly. Overall, it does what I need it to do. I’m giving it 4 stars because I think there’s still a little room to make things cleaner and easier to scan

Appointy works well now, but I’ll be honest, the setup was confusing at first. After I paid, I got a bit nervous because I wasn’t totally sure everything was working right or if I’d made the right choice. It took a few tries to figure things out, but once I got used to it, it became much easier to use.

Appointy was simple enough once I poked around for a few minutes. Easy. Getting my booking setup done didn’t take long, and the calendar view is actually really clear. Nice. A few settings were a little tucked away at first, but I found them without getting too frustrated. Overall, it does what I need without making things complicated.

I got it mainly for taking bookings through Instagram, and to be fair, it does the job. People can book without much drama, which is great. The setup though was kind of clunky and had me annoyed for a bit. Overall I’m happy with it, but also weirdly not thrilled, if that makes sense

"Reminders shouldn’t be this unreliable"
I’ve had multiple clients tell me they never received their reminders, and I usually only find out after they miss the booking. For me, notifications are one of those basic things that just need to work without me double-checking everything. It’s been frustrating.

I was trying to change something and the reschedule part worked okay, but the cancel button kind of confused me for a minute. Not sure if I missed something, but it wasn’t as clear as I expected.

"Works well once you get past the “fun” setup"
It connects nicely with Google Calendar and Zoom, so that part is great. Getting it set up, though, took me a few tries, because apparently it wanted to keep things interesting. Once I got through that, it worked fine.

The embedding does work in the end, but getting it set up felt way more fiddly than it should have. I spent extra time figuring out little things that weren’t very clear, which was frustrating. i’d expect some kind of apology or at least an acknowledgment that the process could be smoother.
